My 20th

34

Happy 20th Birthday to me!

I don't feel 20 years old, its just hilarious how my friends remind me its only ten years til' I'm 30. Then when you look at it like that it gets a little more depressing, so my message to all of you today is to enjoy being young and in school etc because you'll miss it- believe me!

Enough of the negative and on tot he positive! I have a wonderful birthday, probably the best one in a couple of years. I woke up to my Dad's cooked breakfast, opened my presents and cards and here is the result...

Spot the sleeping cat (Ziggy!)

I have been spoilt rotten! This isn't all of it but here are some, a new dress, leggings, The Big Bang Theory Seasons 1-7, Stars Wars trilogy 1-3, Aristocats, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, Paco Rabanne perfume, clothing vouchers, a burgundy handbag and money.

So VERY spoilt!

I ventured out to my nearest town center and met up with a friend who bought me a drink and just had a general catch up which was nice. Which then I dragged him to one of my favourite shops Lush and bought some lovely bath bombs with my voucher Mollie gave me. Oh and I bumped into a school friend, Sarah who I haven't seen for over a year I think and it was just so so nice. I need to make more effort with my friends, old and new. I aim to work hard at work to put some money behind me and improve my relationships with friends and family :-)

By the time I got Joe was awake and we watched some of The Big Bang Theory and waited for Vicky and my Mum to come home before ordering an amazing Indian take-away- my favourite! We had a few drinks and birthday cake of course and sadly everyone had to go to bed because of work in the morning.

So all in all its been a wonderful birthday and I'm so lucky to be surrounded by such loving people, and I really mean that (this isn't the drink talking). I don't know what I would do without them all, I couldn't ask for a better bunch of people.

There we have it, I'm no longer a teen! Perhaps considered more of an adult now, I'm looking forward to what my year of 20 has in store for me. Belfast is approaching and I can't wait for a weekend away with my Mum- although I hope the weather improves!

That's it from me everyone, I hope you've all had a great Wednesday :-)

Cheerio and I'll be back soon,
