March 2015 Wrap-Up

34
It honestly feels like yesterday when I was doing my February Wrap-Up, this year is flying by already and Spring is upon us! Although it still is a bit chilly here in the UK, I hope this means we'll have a hot summer...yeah I'm not putting my hope too much into that! Anyway here is my March summed up for you...

Do you ever have them months where you plan to read something and then end up reading others? Well that's what happened to me...

Me and my good friend Sarah started reading The Handmaid's Tale as our first read and sadly Sarah couldn't get on with it and I had some difficulty- which isn't unusual apparently its one of those books that you either love or don't get so that aside we decided to on The Rosie Effect instead! We were a little disheartened that this sequel to The Rosie Project wasn't as awesome, but I guess not all sequel's are liked much anyhow. Some books deserve to be left alone and in this case I think we can agree on that.

I kind of went through a reading slump this month not really in the mood to read anything, until I found Withering Hope on amazon and it seemed like a quick fun read!

Lastly, my fourth and final book I read in March was Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. My first Orwell novel and ironically his last, and I thoroughly enjoyed this I can't give it justice with my words of admiration for Orwell but I'm so excited to read the rest of his novels :-)

Check out my reviews for these books here:

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
Withering Hope by Layla Hagen
The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion
Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell

These are the pretty books I will be reading in April, in fact I've started City of Ashes and Soil already and I love them both already! So fingers crossed April will be a great reading month for me, and I'm SO excited to finally read The Catcher In The Rye! Half Wild I really need to take time with, its been a year since I read Half Bad. So I need to familiarise myself with all the characters again, as well as the plot, but I have high hopes for this sequel! :-)

Overall my favourite books of March were most definitely The Handmaid's Tale and Nineteen Eighty-Four. A little disappointed that I didn't read as many books as I wanted to this month, but hey April is a new month and I hope it brings you all happiness and Easter eggs! Thank you to all of you who read my blog, it really does mean the world that you take the time to stop by. So big squishy hugs and love to you all :-)
